Toronto councillors get 24 per cent pay bump, first non-inflationary hike since 2006

TORONTO — Toronto city councillors have voted to increase their salary by 24 per cent, or about $33,000.
A city report indicates the pay bump to $170,588 puts them roughly on par with what councillors made last year in Brampton,
