While the Mexican sport padel has exploded in popularity in other parts of the world, it has struggled to gain traction in Canada — until within just the last five years. Now, it’s seeing more demand than Canada’s courts can handle.

The first of Canada’s new River-class destroyers will be named HMCS Fraser. In 1940, a previous HMCS Fraser aided in evacuating British and other Allied forces from the French coast, and later became the first Royal Canadian Navy ship to sink during the Second World War.
