No tsunami threat to B.C. coast following 7.8-magnitude quake off Russia

Provincial officials say there is no tsunami threat to B.C.'s coast following a 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the Pacific Basin near Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula on Thursday. Earlier Thursday, a tsunami advisory had been issued for the Aleutian Islands and Amchitka Pass off Alaska's coast.The
