B.C. campers handed nearly $30K in fines over long weekend for flouting campfire bans

The B.C. Conservation Officer Service (BCCOS) said it handed out nearly $30,000 in fines to campers for violating campfire bans on the South Coast over the recent B.C. Day long weekend.In a social media post, the service said it issued 26 violation
