It took a pair of Hollywood writers to bring a quintessentially Canadian heist story to the screen.Â The Sticky, loosely based on the 2011-2012 theft of nearly 3,000 tonnes of maple syrup valued at almost $19 million from a storage facility in Quebec, hits Amazon Prime on Friday.
