Ontario to start screening for colorectal cancer at age 45 instead of 50

TORONTO — New guidelines published online by Cancer Care Ontario say the province is lowering its colorectal cancer screening age from 50 to 45 in response to a "notable" increase in younger people diagnosed with the disease.
