5 writers make the 2025 CBC Nonfiction Prize shortlist

Writers Rachel Foster, Laura MacGregor, Jennifer McGuire, Lena Palacios and Crystal Semaganis have made the 2025 CBC Nonfiction Prize shortlist. Their nominated works are:The winner will be announced on Sept. 25. They will receive $6,000 from the Canada Council for the Arts and a two-week writing residency
