Canada still hasn’t recognized the likely winner of Venezuela’s election — Venezuelans want to know why | CBC News

Some Venezuelan-Canadians are upset that Canada — more than a month after Venezuela’s presidential election — still hasn’t recognized a winner. The U.S. and other countries recognized the opposition’s Edmundo Gonzalez after 80 per cent of digitized poll receipts were released, showing him leading by more than two-to-one.
